Use Custom Shape Markers on Your Maps
Now you can import HTML image maps and MapsAlive will automatically create custom shape markers for your maps. This makes it easier to create markers that highlight irregularly shaped areas on your maps, such as states, countries, and floor plan rooms. Several programs including MapEdit, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks let you create image maps. See an example.
