The Import Slides features let you import photos, slide content and marker data in one operation, making tour creation fast and easy. You can also update your tour by modifying your import data and re-importing.
Photos & Images
When you import a zip file containing your photos MapsAlive automatically creates a new slide for each photo it finds in the zip file. You can also update photos in existing slides. MapsAlive will update photos that have the same name as a slide's existing photo if its size or content has changed. You can choose the marker to use for the new slides before you import and you can change the marker later.
Slide Content
You can import from an Excel or CSV (comma separated values) file. MapsAlive creates one slide for each record in your import file. Some of the kinds of slide data you can import include:
- Title
- Text
- Media
- Categories
- Marker - specify the marker to use for each slide
- Tooltip
- Click Action - choose to go to another page or a URL
- Categories - set the categories for each slide
HTML Image Maps
The Import HTML Image Map feature lets you import one or more HTML area tags and their shape coordinates and have MapsAlive automatically create a slide and a marker for each shape. This saves you from having to create slides and markers one at a time. You can select a marker to use as a template that defines the color, opacity, and line thickness of the markers you import.
